IT’S NO SURPRISE that Lenny Kravitz, who’s been on the best-dressed list for decades, received the Fashion Icon Award at the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards, which were back in full swing at South Street’s Cipriani’s with fashion and style makers walking the event’s red carpet. Kravitz has been cited for his sense of edgy, experimental rock ‘n’ roll style for as long as I can remember. His outfit and jewels didn’t disappoint at the coveted awards, which honor the top designers and figures in the American fashion industry. Let’s talk about his fashion later and jewelry now. He was wearing fingers full of rings by L’Enchanteur.

The brand wrote on its Instagram feed:

The rings seem to be an eclectic mix of healing and spiritual gemstones and ancient and futuristic textures and shapes. They complement Kravitz’s tendency to push the boundaries of style. He also wore darkened silver chains around his neck — the jewelry complemented his LaQuan Smith double-breasted satin lapel blazer, with cutout details at the hip and his tight leather pants. Finishing off the look were the accessories: a black ostrich feather boa and 4-inch platform heels

Will this type of jewelry styling translate into a trend? I don’t think that men will take to walking around with stacked heavy rings on their finger. But taken separately, each ring is a statement in itself and could be an inspiration for guys to wear bold, chunky rings that are genderless and also inclusive of a variety of demographics.

Hail to Kravitz for the years he spent providing us with legendary rock star appeal. He deserved the award and we congratulate him.
