(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK – Berkshire Hathaway owned, Richline Group—a leading precious metals and materials manufacturer—and BOSS Logics—the premier technology solutions provider for the jewelry industry, announce a groundbreaking multi-year partnership.

To start, this collaboration will introduce focused fine jewelry collections that leverage Richline Group’s exceptional strength in key categories like karat gold and diamond jewelry, alongside new technology from BOSS Logics.

“It has always been our desire to partner with better independent jewelers to create a world class fine jewelry experience,” said Richline Group CEO, Dave Meleski, of the new partnership. “BOSS Logic’s best-in-class technology will make it possible for us to better integrate with our retail partners to provide unrivaled value across a vast array of fine jewelry categories.”

As part of this new collaboration, BOSS Logics will also be Richline’s exclusive data partner for independent jewelers globally. Building on learnings from B2B ordering and catalog platform BOSS Logics Live, this first-of-its-kind union of jewelry and technology will make it seamless for retailer partners to select, launch, promote, and sell fine jewelry from Richline.

“This new partnership is the next step towards our mission to better align vendors and retailers through technology on behalf of the next generation of jewelry buyers,” shared Zach Lipsky, CEO of BOSS Logics. “We could not dream of a better partner than Richline to support our ambitious vision to integrate emerging technology with fine jewelry.”

Both companies will preview this new experience at JCK in Las Vegas ahead of a limited 2024 holiday season. This will include the unveiling of focused fine jewelry collections from Richline, alongside a sneak peek of an innovative omnichannel experience from BOSS Logics.

You Wouldn’t Cut Your Own Hair. Why Run Your Own Retirement Sale?

After being in business for over a quarter of a century, Wayne Reid, owner of Wayne Jewelers in Wayne, Pennsylvania, decided it was time for a little “me time.” He says, “I’ve reached a point in my life where it’s time to slow down, enjoy a lot of things outside of the jewelry industry. It just seemed to be the right time.” He chose Wilkerson to handle his retirement sale because of their reputation and results. With financial goals exceeded, Reid says he made the right choice selecting Wilkerson to handle the sale. “They made every effort to push our jewelry to the forefront of the showcases,” he says, lauding Wilkerson for their finesse and expertise. Would he recommend them to other jewelers who want to make room for new merchandise, expand their business or like him, decide to call it a day? Absolutely he says, equating trying to do this kind of sale with cutting your own hair. “The results are going to happen but not as well as if you have a professional like Wilkerson do the job for you.”
