IT’S THAT TIME again when we see SJP in costume on the streets of New York City. This has been going on since the HBO series Sex And The City started and continued through its reboot, And Just Like That, as well as through the filming of two movies. She has launched many jewelry, fashion and accessories trends throughout the first run and her return as Carrie Bradshaw, New York City writer and author. In the most recent scene, she is wearing Jemma Wynne’s pear-shaped diamond bezel-set necklace, which echoes the trend of the past few years wherein pear shapes have made a return in everything from engagement rings to pendants.

Jemma Wynne has always put a spin on classics, creating everyday wearable pieces for the modern woman. The dynamic pair who created this pear-shaped pendant, Jenny Klatt and Stephanie Wynne, will be celebrating their 15th anniversary in business next month, and they have evolved over time to turn out pieces that continue to be versatile wardrobe staples that are luxurious collectibles, designed to mix and match with each other and pieces from seasons past as well as the jewelry you already own.

Since often TV series scenes are shot out of sequence, we don’t yet know when this Jemma Wynne 18K yellow gold Ada chain with bespoke pear diamond Connexion charm will appear in the show, but judging from past jewels that SJP’s character wears, it is sure to push the pear-shaped pendant even further as a key trend for 2023.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
