A robbery suspect was shot by an employee at Gold Exchange in Corpus Christi, TX, KRIS-TV reports.
The suspect walked into the store and fired a gun on Thursday afternoon. The employee fired back.
The suspect ran away and was eventually caught by police. He was taken to Spohn Shoreline Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to KRIS-TV.
Three other suspects in the attempted robbery jumped into a car and drove away, police say. They were arrested soon afterward.
Police believe the four suspects were also involved in another robbery attempt earlier Thursday afternoon.
KRIS-TV reports that the men “are facing a slew of charges including aggravated robbery.”
