(PRESS RELEASE) LOS ANGELES, CA — TACORI, a timeless and iconic fine jewelry brand, has announced the appointment of luxury and fine jewelry sales executive, Jodi Riesenberg, to Vice President of Sales. The appointment continues the next chapter in the evolution of the brand as it extends four decades of unmatched bridal expertise to a bold and unique point of view in fine jewelry.

“We’re honored to have Ms. Riesenberg join the TACORI family as Vice President of Sales,” said Paul Tacorian, CEO, TACORI. “Her extensive experience across the fashion, luxury and fine jewelry industries will help to accelerate sales growth and enhance partner relationships as we continue to become an even bolder, brighter TACORI.”

Riesenberg joins TACORI from Piaget where she was head of sales for North America and drove growth across the brand’s retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels. Before Piaget, she held several sales and merchandising leadership roles for luxury brands including 3.1 Phillip Lim, J Mendel, LVMH’s Fendi and Christian Dior brands. Riesenberg holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Indiana University where she studied Apparel Merchandising.

“I’m thrilled to join the TACORI team at such an exciting time for the brand, and look forward to partnering with our distribution network to enhance the TACORI customer and retail brand experience in fine jewelry,” said Riesenberg.

Riesenberg will report to Roeya Vaughan, chief commercial officer at TACORI. Vaughan joined TACORI in 2020 and has been leading the organization’s strategic renaissance. The brand has bolstered its product strategy, most recently debuting a new Crescent Eclipse fine jewelry collection at the 2022 Couture jewelry show in Las Vegas, aptly named, as the eclipse signifies new beginnings. TACORI has expanded its customer excellence leadership to offer more personalized support for retail partners, and launched a “Premier Partner” designation to reward and incentivize healthy growth and profitable partnerships with its most valued retail partners. The brand developed a strategic brand partnership with online bridal innovator Brilliant Earth, and introduced a new and evolved visual brand expression to authentically showcase a range of life’s moments – both big and small – with joy and celebration. With Riesenberg’s arrival, TACORI’s next chapter continues to shine bright.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
