YOUNG ACTRESSES GOT to strut their stuff during the arrivals at the 2023 Variety Power of Young Hollywood event. They wore a range of looks and styles either dressed up or down and displaying a range of jewelry. Two attendees, Ariana Greenblatt and Demi Singleton, wore pieces from the iconic houses.

Greenblatt went full force with Bulgari, wearing a Serpenti Viper rose gold necklace set with pavé diamonds, which she paired with a Serpenti Spiga watch and multiple rose gold Serpenti bracelets and rings, also in rose gold. While this could have come off overstated with all the snake-inspired jewels, the size of the pieces and her ability to pull them off with insouciance worked. I might have liked to see one or two of her own pieces thrown in with renowned brands and for a slightly more personalized look, but her style was an excellent fit for the Young Hollywood theme.

Meanwhile, Singleton was able to mix a Louis Vuitton jacket with worn jeans and her nameplate necklace, along with Tiffany & Co. Hardwear yellow gold and diamond earrings. The mix of the high/low fashion and the personalization of her look seemed perfect for the occasion.

It was fun to see what the new generation of Hollywood was wearing including Sydney Sweeny in Alexander McQueen and big diamond hoops and Alexandra Shipp in a multi-strand pearl and diamond necklace.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
