Arnold & Son and Angelus have announced a new retail partnership with Watches of Switzerland! As an authorized U.S. sales partner, Watches of Switzerland now offers Arnold & Son and Angelus timepieces for sale online and in-store. The move is a sign of the Swiss brands’ ongoing popularity.

Funding For the Future

Jewelry brand KIL N.Y.C. has partnered with to launch the KIL N.Y.C. Scholarship for the Jewelry Arts. The scholarship offers $1,000 for a student who is passionate about and committed to pursuing a major in jewelry design. Applications opened during this fall’s NYC Jewelry & Object Show and the deadline is May 20.

The American Gemstone Trade Association (AGTA) has entered into a partnership with Rio Grande Jewelry Supply. The goal is for Rio Grande to fulfill AGTA’s founding vision by offering their customers an expanded selection of ethically sourced gemstones, while AGTA supports the Rio Grande client base by promoting education, disclosures, and industry standards to help jewelers perfect their craft.

Moving Up — Not Out — with Wilkerson

Trish Parks has always wanted to be in the jewelry business and that passion has fueled her success. The original Corinth Jewelers opened in the Mississippi town of the same name in 2007. This year, Parks moved her business from its original strip mall location to a 10,000-square foot standalone store. To make room for fresh, new merchandise, she asked Wilkerson to organize a moving sale. “What I remember most about the sale is the outpouring excitement and appreciation from our customers,” says Parks. Would she recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers? “I would recommend Wilkerson because they came in, did what they were supposed to and made us all comfortable. And we met our goals.”
