In 1924, six years after the company was established, CITIZEN launched its first pocket watch into the world. The dial was finished with the brand name CITIZEN, reflecting the hope that CITIZEN watches would be worn and loved by citizens all over the world for many years. Since then, CITIZEN has utilized countless technological innovations to create watches that serve as close companions in the daily lives of people everywhere.

This new 2024 pocket watch is designed to reflect CITIZEN’s path forward for the next 100 years – it pays homage to the classic beauty of the original while also incorporating modern advancements including high accuracy and a lightweight titanium alloy case.

A free-sprung balance wheel is the heart of the watch, delivering high accuracy of -3 to +5 seconds a day. The design of the movement incorporates numerous gentle curves. The bridges have diamond-cut edges and the movement features the gentle waves of the Côtes de Genève finish. The advanced movement is contained inside a lightweight titanium alloy case. The watch is both a pleasure to hold and a pleasure to look at – lightweight luxury with a balance that gleams as it rhythmically marks the passage of time.

Since its foundation, CITIZEN has believed that it is always possible to make something better – and now is the time to start doing it. The company prides itself on constantly moving forward in the never-ending pursuit of the essence of the watch. This same dedication and determination was behind the creation of this new pocket watch – a watch that will serve as a close companion to its owner through all of life’s journeys.

She Wanted to Spend More Time with Her Kids. She Called Wilkerson.

Your children are precious. More precious than gold? Absolutely! Just ask Lesley Ann Davis, owner of Lesley Ann Jewels, an independent jewelry store that — until the end of 2023 — had quite a following in Houston, Texas. To spend more time with her four sons, all in high school, she decided to close her store. Luckily, she was familiar with Wilkerson and called them as soon as she knew she wanted to move on to bigger, better and more family-focused things. Was she happy with her decision? Yes, she was. Says Davis, “Any owner looking to make that life change, looking to retire, looking to close, looking for a pause in their career, I would recommend Wilkerson. Hands down!”
