GJEPC Chairman Colin Shah said, “We are delighted to announce the 37th edition of IIJS Premiere 2021. Ensuring that all protocols are followed will be our top priority. We are looking forward to the show and hoping to meet the sourcing needs of buyers for the upcoming festive season. An event of this magnitude needs a great venue, so we are glad that BIEC stepped up to help us organise it. I would like to express my gratitude to the Central and Karnataka State government for offering all the support in organising the first physical show after the lockdown”

Shailesh Sangani, Convener, Exhibitions, GJEPC said, “We have finalised Bengaluru as our destination to host IIJS Premiere this year, owing to the venue constraints in Mumbai. The Karnataka Govt. was quick to offer all the necessary approvals to organise the show. Shifting the venue has not affected the participants’ enthusiasm, as evident from the applications received from 1275 companies for 2444 stalls. As always, the security of this show will be handled by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), which has already completed the initial recce visit of the location.”

Mansukh Kothari, Co-convener, National Exhibitions, GJEPC, “We have planned a series of road shows to promote IIJS Premiere in major cities including Mumbai, Cochin, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Lucknow, and Kolkata.”

IIJS Premiere 2021 space application will start from 24th to 31st July 2021 and booth allotment will commence from 9th August to 14th August 2021.

The IIJS is India’s largest B2B gems and jewellery exhibition. It hosts the industry’s biggest gathering of domestic and overseas buyers and is the primary platform for Indian jewellery manufacturers to work with retailers, enabling them to gain insights into demand trends and product designs.

Among the top 5 gem and jewellery shows happening globally, IIJS Premiere 2021 will enable visitors to connect directly with more than 1275 jewellery manufacturers and exhibitors from across India. The event will showcase versatile jewellery crafted with the highest standards of design and finish.

The previous edition of IIJS was held virtually, from January 8 to 12, 2021, to a hugely positive response.

John Matthews, owner of John Michael Matthews Fine Jewelry in Vero Beach, Florida, is a planner. As an IJO member jeweler, he knew he needed an exit strategy if he ever wanted to g the kind of retirement he deserved. He asked around and the answers all seemed to point to one solution: Wilkerson. He talked to Rick Hayes, Wilkerson president, and took his time before making a final decision. He’d heard Wilkerson knew their way around a going out of business sale. But, he says, “he didn’t realize how good it was going to be.” Sales goals were “ambitious,” but even Matthews was pleasantly surprised. “It looks like we’re going to double that.”
